The order intake increased by about 25% to almost 54 million euro, bringing it back to the level before the financial crisis. Both turnover and net profit remained virtually unchanged compared to 2009.

These figures are the consolidated result of the operational activities of Paques Balk in the Netherlands and Paques Shanghai in China. Paques Shanghai has continued the growth of the previous years. 2010 was still a difficult year for the operation in the Netherlands due to a reserved investment policy of customers. However, a strong recovery was observed in the fourth quarter. “Because this growth continues in the first quarter of 2011, it seems that the recovery is structural in particularly Europe and North America. The demand for technologies that provide solutions for water scarcity and production of green energy is expected to increase. Therefore, we look with confidence to the future where we continue to focus on innovation and market development with a strong focus on local presence in growth markets", said Managing Director Rob Heim.
