On October 12, Paques Asia Pacific won the Malaysian Dutch Business Council MISA 2018 award in the category “ Best Environmental Innovation” in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

On October 12, Paques Asia Pacific won the Malaysian Dutch Business Council MISA 2018 award in the category “ Best Environmental Innovation” in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
“The Competition in this category was very tough! But we won from Heineken Malaysia, Expleco Ltd and Sime Darby Research” said Rob van As, Managing Director of Paques Asia Pacific. “The panel of judges led by Chief Judge Netherlands Ambassador H.E. Karin Mössenlechner carefully reviewed all submissions and they informed Paques Asia Pacific that they were ranked for the finalists at the end of September, but you still have to win it and we did!” says Rob van As
After the winners were announced at the DoubleTree Hilton, H.E. Karin Mössenlechner added, “The finalists in the three categories encourage us to work on a more innovative, sustainable future. They do this by making innovation central to their business models and showing us that innovation can be profitable, which is an inspiration for all participants and the wider business community to innovate and go green.”
The MDBC MISA award categories were:
- Best Social Innovation
- Best Environmental Innovation
- Best Start – Up / Scale – Up in Sustainable Innovation
